Hi, and welcome.
My name is Călin. The rest, I’ll let the music speak.
I don’t make music to decorate silence. I make it to cut into it.
Those Black Wires is an ever-evolving project, moving through electronic forms, touching trip hop, experimental, ambient, piano-synth, fragments of synth pop, and whatever else emerges, without settling in one place for too long.
What lies within has to come out. Music is the closest language I have for it, even when what surfaces is still unknown to me.
Everything begins somewhere internal, rarely clear, always charged. I stay with it until it finds its own language: rhythm first, then texture, then whatever words can hold.
Some tracks stretch longer than expected. Some circle the same progression, the same pulse. They can feel unfinished. But I don’t step outside my limits to clean things up, I work through them. Everything is played and shaped through my hands as they are now. What repeats isn’t emptiness, but pressure meeting a boundary, and staying there until something shifts.
The sound sits between control and collapse. Structured, but breathing. Raw where it needs to be, precise where it matters. If it resolves too easily, it’s probably not true.
This isn’t background music. It asks something from you, the same way it asked something from me.
If you feel something shift while listening, stay there for a moment.
